Man fighting against sand mafia shot dead in Noida

Noida: A man was reportedly shot dead by motorcycle borne miscreants sand mafia in Noida on Wednesday. The victim was fighting against sand mafia in the area and had filed complaint against them, as per news reports. The family of the victim have also blamed sand mafia for his murder, the news report states. Recently, an IAS officer Durga Shakti Nagpal was suspended by the Uttar Pradesh government for allegedly taking on sand mafia in the state.
