Los Angeles: Even after being happily engaged to comedian Russel Brand, pop singer Katy Perry is not ruling out women as dating options. The `I Kissed a Girl` hitmaker, who got betrothed to the British funnyman on New Year`s Eve while vacationing in India, has admitted that she can turn to women if romance with a man doesn`t work out, reported Glamour magazine.
 
"I have a soft spot for women, I`m not afraid of it. I have certain girlfriends who I just think are the most angelic, beautiful creatures. And if any of my boyfriends ever
fail me, I`ll turn to them!," said Perry.
 
But for now, the 25-year-old singer is content with her fiance who she thinks is her `perfect match`.
 
"I`m excited to find a partner who can just be my team-mate. I`m not going to play by any rules, I`m just going to go with my heart. Why wait?," she said.
 
Perry also admitted that she needed a man whom she could respect and who would bring discipline into her life.
 
"There`s got to be respect. For me, that`s hard because it`s easy for me to steamroll guys. I need a man who tells me the party`s over, that it`s time to go home, because [we] have to work in the morning," she said.
