Volkswagen India has been known to launch several special editions of its popular offerings – the Polo and the Vento. Continuing the tradition, the automaker has launched another edition of the Vento – the Vento Preferred edition.
It is based on the mid-variant of the sedan – Comfortline – and comes with additional features over the standard ones available in the trim. The company claims in its official release that the Vento Preferred edition is available across all dealerships and is ‘attractively’ priced.
The Vento Preferred can be had in all drivetrain options since the Comfortline variant is available with all – 1.6 MPI, 1.2 TSI (seven-speed dual-clutch auto), 1.5 TDI and 1.5 TDI DSG (seven-speed dual-clutch auto). Speaking of the additional features, it comes with alloy wheels, contrasting roof, side mouldings, leather seat upholstery and a portable navigation device with a wireless rear camera.
Announcing the launch of the Vento Preferred, Mr Michael Mayer, director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars India, said, “The Vento has been one of our best-selling vehicles since its launch in the Indian market and we are delighted to announce the introduction of ‘Vento Preferred’.
