Welcome back to GT's response with the bat.
... THE RUN CHASE ...
With the playoffs looming, GT would be very disappointed with this ordinary bowling effort, knowing that such lapses could prove costly in high-stakes matches. It is now time for their batters, to complete this mountainous task up their sleeves. If the Super Giants manage to lay siege on the Titans' top order, they will be well ahead in the game. But can they get the better of any one of Shubman Gill or Sai Sudharsan early in the first six? A very exciting run chase is up next in just a few
Nicholas Pooran of Lucknow Super Giants is up for a quick chat with the broadcasters.
The Bison powered his way to a well-earned century, smashing 100 off just 56 deliveries and cementing his place as the first overseas batter to achieve the feat this season. Meanwhile, Pooran wasted no time, blazing to his fifty in just 23 balls, piling on the misery for the Titans with his relentless hitting. As a result, the last 5 overs went for a whopping 75 runs, with only one over going under double digits in the second half of the first innings.
Rashid Khan endured another tough outing, struggling to contain the carnage as LSGâs batters ran riot. The rest of GTâs bowling attack looked out of sorts too, unable to put the brakes on the scoring or strike at crucial moments. Their premier wicket-taker, Prasidh Krishna, too, went for aplenty and wicketless, which sums up the day for them in the bowling. GT found themselves in deep waters, and with wickets in hand, Nicky P didnât hold back, going all guns blazing to set up a high-voltag
