... SECOND INNINGS ...

The Black Caps' bowling was absolutely masterful. They let the Windies think they were in contention, allowing John Campbell and Brandon King to score freely, but Blair Tickner stormed back in the post-Lunch session, unleashing a spell that left the Windies reeling. Once the wickets started tumbling, there was no stopping the Black Caps. Blair Tickner got 4 while Michael Rae got 3. Glenn Phillips and Jacob Duffy got one each as well.

The West Indies' chances fizzle out in a heap. A solid 153 for 3 had them cruising, but a calamitous collapse sees them crumble for 205. Shai Hope's departure was the turning point, triggering a horrific slide where the last 7 wickets tumble for next to nothing. The top and middle order, John Campbell, Brandon King, Shai Hope, and Roston Chase, all got starts, but converting them into big scores proved elusive, and it was a case of 'so near, yet so far' for the Windies.

... DAY 1, THIRD SESSION ...

Chevron skipper, Roston Chase and Justin Greaves are now trying to build a strong partnership. Chase is looking much settled than before and he is looking a bit more comfortable with the shorter deliveries.  The Kiwis will desperately try to take the matter in hand and strike West Indies' batters as much as they can, so that they can start early on Day 2, as the pitch is opening up for the bowlers. Stick around with us, as the last session of Day 1 will commence in no time. 

After the dismissal, Shai Hope and Roston Chase tried to forge the same partnership. Hope was looking very good with his front-footed strokeplay. The Kiwi bowlers returned to their short-ball tactic and saw Chase suffering to face bouncers. They kept on mixing their line and lengths, and as a result, they found the wicket of Hope, who missed his seventh half-century by two runs. 

SESSION SUMMARY - 27 overs, 83 runs and 2 wickets! After the Lunch Break, John Campbell and Shai Hope, who were looking strudy on the crease, ended up losing their partnership after the dismissal of John Campbell. The Black Caps' bowling was absolutely masterful. They let the Windies think they were in contention, allowing John Campbell and Brandon King to score freely, but Blair Tickner stormed back in the post-Lunch session, unleashing a spell that left the Windies reeling. Once the wickets started tumbling, there was no stopping the Black Caps. Blair Tickner got 4 while Michael Rae got 3. Glenn Phillips and Jacob Duffy got one each as well.

The West Indies' chances fizzle out in a heap. A solid 153 for 3 had them cruising, but a calamitous collapse sees them crumble for 205. Shai Hope's departure was the turning point, triggering a horrific slide where the last 7 wickets tumble for next to nothing. The top and middle order, John Campbell, Brandon King, Shai Hope, and Roston Chase, all got starts, but converting them into big scores proved elusive, and it was a case of 'so near, yet so far' for the Windies.

Chevron skipper, Roston Chase and Justin Greaves are now trying to build a strong partnership. Chase is looking much settled than before and he is looking a bit more comfortable with the shorter deliveries.  The Kiwis will desperately try to take the matter in hand and strike West Indies' batters as much as they can, so that they can start early on Day 2, as the pitch is opening up for the bowlers. After the dismissal, Shai Hope and Roston Chase tried to forge the same partnership. Hope was looking very good with his front-footed strokeplay. The Kiwi bowlers returned to their short-ball tactic and saw Chase suffering to face bouncers. They kept on mixing their line and lengths, and as a result, they found the wicket of Hope, who missed his seventh half-century by two runs.

The day started with a strong partnership of John Campbell and Brandon King, who had a knot of 66 runs partnership. They were pretty confident till the end of the drinks break, but after that, the LBW of Blair Tickner boosted the Kiwis. After the dismissal of King, Kavem Hodge stepped on the crease and got dismissed by Tickner in the same fashion he had eliminated King. They have really scored 100 runs and if they continue this till the end of the day, we can see them ending the day with more than 240-250 and then they can continue fresh tomorrow. The Black Caps' bowling was absolutely masterful. They let the Windies think they were in contention, allowing John Campbell and Brandon King to score freely, but Blair Tickner stormed back in the post-Lunch session, unleashing a spell that left the Windies reeling. Chevron skipper, Roston Chase and Justin Greaves are now trying to build a strong partnership. Chase is looking much settled than before and he is looking a bit more comfortable with the shorter deliveries.  The Kiwis will desperately try to take the matter in hand and strike West Indies' batters as much as they can, so that they can start early on Day 2, as the pitch is opening up for the bowlers. After the dismissal, Shai Hope and Roston Chase tried to forge the same partnership. Hope was looking very good with his front-footed strokeplay. The Kiwi bowlers returned to their short-ball tactic and saw Chase suffering to face bouncers. They kept on mixing their line and lengths, and as a result, they found the wicket of Hope, who missed his seventh half-century by two runs.

The Black Caps' bowling was absolutely masterful. They let the Windies think they were in contention, allowing John Campbell and Brandon King to score freely, but Blair Tickner stormed back in the post-Lunch session, unleashing a spell that left the Windies reeling. Once the wickets started tumbling, there was no stopping the Black Caps. Blair Tickner got 4 while Michael Rae got 3. Glenn Phillips and Jacob Duffy got one each as well.

The West Indies' chances fizzle out in a heap. A solid 153 for 3 had them cruising, but a calamitous collapse sees them crumble for 205. Shai Hope's departure was the turning point, triggering a horrific slide where the last 7 wickets tumble for next to nothing. The top and middle order, John Campbell, Brandon King, Shai Hope, and Roston Chase, all got starts, but converting them into big scores proved elusive, and it was a case of 'so near, yet so far' for the Windies.

Chevron skipper, Roston Chase and Justin Greaves are now trying to build a strong partnership. Chase is looking much settled than before and he is looking a bit more comfortable with the shorter deliveries.  The Kiwis will desperately try to take the matter in hand and strike West Indies' batters as much as they can, so that they can start early on Day 2, as the pitch is opening up for the bowlers. After the dismissal, Shai Hope and Roston Chase tried to forge the same partnership. Hope was looking very good with his front-footed strokeplay. The Kiwi bowlers returned to their short-ball tactic and saw Chase suffering to face bouncers. They kept on mixing their line and lengths, and as a result, they found the wicket of Hope, who missed his seventh half-century by two runs.
