Sub-Inspector commits suicide by shooting self in Bihar's Gaya

Gaya: A Sub-Inspector allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself in Bihar's Gaya on Friday.

He reportedly used his service revolver to shoot himself.

According to ANI, the son of the late policeman has held the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) responsible for his father's death.

Gaya: Son of the ASI, who allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself, lodges FIR alleging that the DSP is responsible for his father's death as DSP did not grant him leave. — ANI (@ANI) March 16, 2018

He has lodged an FIR against the DySP in which he claimed the former did not grant leave to his father.

In the utter frustration and anger, the sub-inspector is believed to have taken the extreme step.

The sub-inspector's body has been sent for post-mortem and his service revolver has been seized.
