Deepika Padukone, Irrfan Khan to play gangsters in Vishal Bhardwaj’s next

Mumbai: After giving us a glimpse of their unconventional chemistry in ‘Piku’, Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan are all set to share screen space in Vishal Bhardwaj’s next.

Based on a gangster drama, the film will see Deepika essay the role of Sapna Didi aka Rahima Khan. Irrfan too will play a gangster in the film.

This will be Deepika’s first collaboration with the ace filmmaker and it will be interesting to see her performance in the film. Irrfan, who has worked with Bhardwaj in the past is a powerhouse of talent and we can certainly expect the best from him.

Currently, Deepika is busy with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’ and Irrfan is basking in the success of his latest – ‘Hindi Medium’.

‘Piku’ made us crave for more of Deepika and Irrfan and we are glad they are joining forced soon for Bhardwaj’s next.
