According to a report in Mid-Day.com, SLB wants his lead actors to report to the sets on time. Since Deepika stays in Prabhadevi, which is quite far from the sets of Padmavati in Goregaon, Bhansali has asked her to shift to a hotel near Film City. Even Ranveer, who stays in Bandra will move to a plush apartment in a high-rise in the vicinity.

Slated to release on November 17 next year, ‘Padmavati’ will retell the story of the siege of Chittor fort by Alauddin Khilji, on celluloid. The film will revolve around Alauddin Khilji (essayed by Ranveer Singh), Raja Rawal Ratan Singh, King of Mewar (played by Shahid Kapoor) and Rani Padmavati (Deepika).

Interestingly, rumoured real life couple – Ranveer and Deepika –won’t share screen space in the film because the latter is romantically paired opposite Shahid, who plays her on screen husband.
