Pataakha first look out: 'Dangal' girl Sanya Malhotra, Radhika Madan look unrecognisable in rugged avatar

New Delhi: Trust maverick filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj to bring out the best in an actor and surprise the fans. His upcoming venture titled 'Pataakha' stars 'Dangal' girl Sanya Malhotra and television actress Radhika Madan in a never-seen-before avatar.

The first look poster of 'Pataakha' has been unveiled and the actors look totally unrecognisable in their rustic and rugged avatar. In the poster, both the girls can be seen fighting it out with each other and it brings back the memories of sports biopic 'Dangal where Sanya played wrestler Babita Phogat's elder version. 

Noted film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and shared the first look poster. He wrote: "Sanya Malhotra. Radhika Madan. Sunil Grover. Vijay Raaz... First look poster of Vishal Bhardwaj's #Pataakha... Produced by Dheeraj Wadhawan, Ajay Kapoor, Rekha Bhardwaj and Vishal Bhardwaj... 28 Sept 2018 release."

Reportedly, the film was earlier titled 'Churiyan', based on Charan Singh Pathik’s short story named 'Do Behnein'. The film is set to release on September 28, 2018. It has been produced by Dheeraj Wadhawan, Ajay Kapoor, Rekha Bhardwaj and Vishal Bhardwaj.

The film also stars talented actors Sunil Grover and Vijay Raaz in pivotal parts.
