Deepika Padukone leaves Woody Allen mesmerised

Mumbai: Deepika Padukone’s first major international appearance at the Cannes Film Festival hasn’t gone unnoticed. The sassy stunner, who made headlines back home for her swishy white saree number, has caught the fancy of several Hollywood agents. And that’s not all, leading Hollywood filmmaker Woody Allen is much too impressed with the dusky lass as he has expressed a desire to meet Dips. Confirming the news, a friend of Deepika told a news daily, “Many Hollywood agents sent her messages, directly and indirectly, that they would like to be appointed by her if she was keen on Hollywood assignments.” And it was here that one of the agents texted her that Woody Allen would like to meet her. And though the lass was obviously thrilled, she couldn’t extend her stay due to prior work commitments in India. “She couldn’t have a meeting with any of these agents,” adds Deepika’s friend. As for Dips’ reaction to these offers, her friend adds, “It’s too early to say what will happen next. Deepika created quite a buzz at Cannes. If a concrete Hollywood offer comes along, well and good. She would definitely consider it.” Well, looks like Deepika Padukone has made an impression with all the right people!
