Mumbai: Success comes slow in classical music, but sarod players Amaan and Ayaan Ali Khan have no qualms about it.
When reporters asked the duo for their take on the limited scope that Bollywood offers to Indian classical music artists, Amaan said: "It does not make difference to us. There is audience for our art too and we do not believe in becoming superstar overnight as it happens in Bollywood."
So far, their only tryst with showbiz was when they had hosted musical programme "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa".
"It had happened before the whole TV industry boom happened. However, we are not closed to the idea. When we would find anything interesting, we will surely take it," said Ayaan.
The duo, sons of sarod maestro Amjad Ali Khan, was in Bhopal to enthrall classical music lovers of City of Lakes on the Valentine`s Day. They performed at the 30th anniversary of Bharat Bhavan, a cultural centre in Bhopal.
