London: Simon Cowell is planning for a new global venture – a fresh version of ‘Top Of The Pops’.

The `X Factor` guru has hinted before that he wants to create a similar programme to the iconic music show, axed in 2006. "It’s not cost effective just doing it in the UK,” the Sun quoted him as saying. "To do it properly it would need to be bigger than one country," he added. ‘Top Of The Pops’ was a viewing staple for 42 years but now only has a Christmas Day edition. ANI
