Aguilera apologises for National Anthem flub

Aguilera apologised after mixing up the words of US National Anthem.

London: Christina Aguilera had to apologise after mixing up the words to the National Anthem during the Super Bowl.
The 30-year-old singer, who sang the Star Spangled Banner before the game started, claimed that she ``got lost in the moment`` during her performance. "I got so lost in the moment of the song that I lost my place. I can only hope that everyone could feel my love for this country and the true spirit of it``s anthem still came through," the Daily Mail quoted her as saying in a statement. Sources have said that the singer was incredibly upset after her performance, and decided to head home rather than attend any celebratory after-parties. ANI
