New Delhi: Leading Chinese tech giant Xiaomi on Thursday launched Qicycle, a foldable electric smart bike at an event in China pricing it at CNY 2,999.

Known as the Qicycle Electric Folding Bike, the Xiaomi Mi Smart Bike made of carbon fibre and weighs just 14.5 kilograms.

Here are some of the salient features of the Xiaomi Qicycle Electric Folding Bike.

The Xiaomi Qicycle Electric Folding Bike is make of light carbon fibre and weighs just 14.5 kilograms. Thus making it easy for commuting even in heavy traffic.

Being foldable, it also easily fits into the trunk of a car without occupying much space. Which also means that you can carry the Qicycle Electric Folding Bike wherever you want to without having to worry about much space in your car. Convenient aye!

The Qicycle Electric Folding Bike is fitted with a huge Panasonic lithium 18650 mAh battery which, on a single full charge, can travel up to 40-50 kilometres.  It is powered by a 250W 36V high-speed electric motor and also comes with a driving motor and 3-speed transmission.

It also comes with app that logs your distance, speed, GPS location, calories burned, and more. This can also be connection to your smartphone app.

The price? It is priced at CNY 2,999 or USD 455 which converts to about INR 30,000. However, the Xiaomi Qicycle Electric Folding Bike is available only in China as of now and there are no news as yet to its availability in other parts of the world.
