Boyle had promised mum to do something with her life

Britain`s Got Talent sensation Susan Boyle has accorded her international success to her late mother.

London: Britain`s Got Talent sensation Susan Boyle has accorded her international success to her late mother.
The Scottish songbird revealed she promised mum Bridget, who died at 91, that she would do something about her singing. "I had promised my mum I would do something with my life just before she died - that I`d do something with my singing. So I applied for Britain`s Got Talent," The Sun quoted her as saying. She added: "We`d seen a soloist singing on the TV just before she passed and I said, `Is that what you want me to do, Mum?" "She said, `Yes.` She had a good belief that I could do it. So I decided to do something about it. I couldn`t straight away because the bereavement hit me hard." Susan shot to fame earlier this year when she appeared as a contestant on the talent show, performing a jaw-dropping rendition of audition song "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Misérables. ANI
