Bangalore: Veteran fashion designer Ritu Kumar, who has been named for the Padma Shri award this year, will showcase a collection with five themes, showing rich Indian culture and heritage, at the grand finale of Bangalore Fashion Week (BFW).
The five-day fashion extravaganza will conclude Monday.
Kumar`s opening sequence will be Art Deco and the designs will be an amalgamation of bold forms with delicate embroideries. For this, she has used fabrics such as silks, chiffon, crepe and twill.
Another collection with boast baroque element recreated with a vintage line inspired by Bollywood hits 1960s and 1970s.
She will also present couture collection.
