Passionate scenes in `Dirty Picture` aesthetic: Tusshar

Tusshar, who is paired opposite Vidya Balan in `Dirty Picture`, a biopic on Silk Smitha, says intimate scenes in the film are justified.

New Delhi: Actor Tusshar Kapoor, who is paired opposite Vidya Balan in `Dirty Picture`, a biopic on southern movie siren Silk Smitha, says intimate scenes in the film are justified.
The film, to be directed by Milan Luthria, has already generated a lot of curiosity but Tusshar, who is portraying one of the three men in Silk Smitha`s life, said intimate scenes in the movie are not meant to titillate. "You can`t have a film about a sex siren and not show some moments of passion. The passionate scenes in this movie are not meant to titillate but are the demand of the script," Tusshar told reporters. "Knowing Milan`s sensibilities, it would be futile to expect anything titillating, especially with Vidya in the middle of it all," said Tushar. There were rumours about Tushar and Vidya getting a bit more up close and personal than required while filming the movie, but the actor says such gossip did not affect the actress. "On the contrary she was quite amused. She is quite a sport and is also a lot of fun. Prior to coming together for this film, I had barely exchanged a `hi` and a `hello` with her. I know though that she is a fabulous performer. USP of the film is her playing Silk Smitha," the actor said. His sister Ekta Kapoor has had good success coming her way as a film producer ut the actor says he has no plans to produce as of yet. "I have thought about it. However, as of now I don`t have any major plans. I want turn a producer but not now." PTI
