Washington: Mila Kunis remained true to her words, and accompanied a US Marine to a military ball after he invited her via YouTube.
According to ABC News affiliate WCTI-TV, the 28-year-old ‘Friends With Benefits’ star accompanied US Marine Sgt. Scott Moore to a Marine Corp Ball in Greenville on Friday. Moore said that he asked the actress to be his date on a dare from his fellow Marines. “It was kind of a bet between me and Marines in my platoon. I told everyone I was going to do it, but they didn’t think I would go through with it,” he wrote in an e-mail sent to ABCNews.com in July. “Of course, a bet between Marines must be honored, so I took the chance. “You can’t make shots that you don’t take, so I took the best shot I could,” he added. Kunis was taken straight from the airport to the convention centre where the gala was held to meet her lucky Marine date who recently returned from seven months of fighting in the Musa Qala and Now Zad districts in Afghanistan.
