Washington: Channing Tatum has revealed that he felt like a “fool” when he was stripper and said there was never anything glamorous about it.
The 32-year-old actor plays a stripper in his new movie ‘Magic Mike’ but he used to make a living out of taking his clothes off in real life. “You’re just a guy taking off his clothes, looking like a fool in a stupid outfit,” Contactmusic quoted him as telling Out magazine. “I never enjoyed the taking-the-clothes-off part. “You are on a stage with people yelling at you and you feel like you’re a rock star, but you’re nothing,” he said. Channing, who is married to actress Jenna Dawson, says he is now enjoying his career as an actor and just wants to keep getting better and learning from others. “I’ve been acting for eight years now, and I feel I’m just starting to understand things. I want to keep finding people I can learn from,” he added. Channing has never been secretive about his former life and has always maintained he doesn’t regret his previous job. “I wanted to tell people. I’m not ashamed of it. I don’t regret one thing. I’m not a person who hides s**t,” he previously said. ANI
