New York: American actress Brooke Shields fractured her hand while preparing for a Los Angeles stage show.
The 45-year-old star was preparing for musical "Leap of Faith" when she met with the accident.
"Brooke broke her hand during rehearsal for the musical `Leap of Faith`. The cast will be off before previews on Sep 11. It was a minor break and did not affect the production schedule," people.com quoted her representative as saying.
