Railways Holi gift for commuters! Announces special trains
The Central Railway (CR) will run special trains to Nagpur, Karmali, Gorakhpur and Bhatni to clear the extra rush of passengers for Holi festival.
Mumbai: The Central Railway (CR) will run special trains to Nagpur, Karmali, Gorakhpur and Bhatni to clear the extra rush of passengers for Holi festival.
According to an official release issued here today, special train Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT)- Karmali will run between March 18 and March 25. The train (no 01005) from LLT to Karmali will run on two days i.e. on March 18 and March 25 and depart from LLT at 01.10 AM and arrive in Karmali at 11.30 AM on the same day.
In return journey on March 18 and 25, train no. 01006 will leave Karmali at 1.10 PM and will arrive at LTT at 12.20 midnight next day.
Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) Mumbai-Karmali-CST weekly specials will run from March 19-26.
Train no 01089 will run on March 19 and March 26 and will leave CST at 12.20 AM and reach Karmali at 11.30 AM on the same day.
In return journey on March 19 and March 26, train no 01090 will depart from Karmali at 1.10 PM and arrive in CST at 11.50 PM on the same day.
CR will also run 4 trips of CST-Gorkhapur weekly specials for the ease of passengers travelling to north India.
Train no 01047 will run on March 21 and March 28. It will depart from CST at 3.35 PM and reach Gorkhapur at 8 AM on the third day.
From Gorkhapur, the train will leave at 10.30 AM on March 23 and March 30 and will arrive at CST at 11.15 PM the next day.
LTT-Bhatni Jn weekly specials will be run from March 18 to March 26.
The LTT-Nagpur weekly special train will be run from March 22 and March 29. Train no 01013 will leave LTT on March 22 and March 29 at 12.45 AM in midnight and will arrive in Nagpur at 3 PM on the same day.
In return journey, train no 01014 will depart from Nagpur at 9.15 PM and will reach LTT at 12.15 PM the next day. The trains will run on March 22 and March 29.
Bookings for fully reserved special trains on special charges from CST/ LTT will open from March 4, 2016, it said.
