Los Angeles: Actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt, known for his work in ‘Inception’, says he does not like his celebrity status.
"I never liked the recognition. It always made me feel uncomfortable that just because someone is on TV, they`re in another class. It`s unhealthy and fascist," contactmusic.com quoted the actor as saying.
"I still don`t like it, but I`ve learned that there`s a distinction between someone saying, `I saw `Inception` and it really meant something`, and `Ooh, you`re famous, do you know that celebrity person?” said the 31-year-old, who was also seen in "The Dark Knight Rises".
He will soon be seen in Rian Johnson`s ‘Looper’ along with Bruce Wills. The film is slated to release Sep 28 in the US.
