London: After her impromptu performance at the V Festival in Essex, troubled British singer Amy Winehouse says she is excited to go back on stage and do her "own gigs". Thesun.co.uk reports that Winehouse was a special guest of the band The Specials at the event and performed with them. Now she believes her recent performance was the kind of jolt she needed to get back on stage.
"It`s great to be back. I absolutely loved it out there. The fans and the atmosphere were great. It wasn`t planned at all. I just went out and did it. I want to do my own gigs now," she said. Winehouse is working on her much anticipated new album. IANS
