Britney to record new album post `Circus` tour

London: Pop star Britney Spears is set to record a new album as soon as her `Circus` world tour ends.

The `Toxic` superstar bounced back from a tough 2008 by releasing her fifth number one album, "Circus", last November and headed out on a world trek in March this year. But despite after almost 12 months of touring and concerts, Spears isn`t taking time off after her final show in Adelaide, Australia Nov 29 and she plans to hit the recording studio after Christmas, reports contactmusic.com.
