Mumbai: Good news for all those who loved Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘RA.One’. The actor has apparently decided to make a sequel of the superhero flick.
Although the actor hasn’t officially released any statement on the issue but a daily confirms that one of the writers of the film and SRK’s close buddy, Mushtaq Sheikh, has said that the sequel is on it’s way.
Speaking to the daily, Sheikh said, “Right now, we all are soaking in the energy of `RA.One`, which took five years of hard work. After the film’s success party, we will sit together and start work on the sequel. The thought process has already kicked off.”
Sheikh added that SRK has already had “generic discussions about which direction he wants the sequel to go in”.
Apparently, the team had thought of sequel even before the film was released. “When we were just half-way through, we knew a film like this would demand a sequel. The way we left it at the end shows how G.One has come back. So, without a doubt, a sequel is on its way,” said Sheikh.
Sheikh who penned SRK’s `Om Shanti Om` said that SRK wants a sequel for the film. And why not? The film has already earned Rs 170 crores in its first weekend itself.
“Shah Rukh believes in it (sequel). It’s completely his vision. We have discussed part two. Like everyone else, he also has some ideas in head,” said Sheikh.
Although the superstar refused to comment on the issue, he somewhat hinted about a sequel when he tweeted, “A big up to all who r making my dream come alive...and just a line from an old film..picture abhi baaki hai mere dost...love u all(sic)”
