Daryl Hannah hit by bill for unpaid taxes

London: `Kill Bill` star Daryl Hannah has been sent a bill of USD 62,000 for unpaid taxes by the US tax body IRS.

The Internal Revenue Service hit the actress with a federal lien although her manager Chuck Binder isn`t concerned and is already signing her up for future film projects, reported Contactmusic. "I just made a deal for her. So whatever kind of things that are owed, if she does owe, will get cleaned up next week," said Binder. This isn`t the first time the 50-year-old has been in trouble with the law. In 2009, she was arrested after taking part in a protest against mountaintop coal-mining, which sees the tops of mountains blown away to help miners get at deposits inside. Hannah, a long-term environmental activist and 30 other people blocked traffic by sitting on a stretch of road outside a Massey Energy Company plant, prompting police to intervene. PTI
