Peter Gabriel apologises to fans

Washington: Peter Gabriel was left “extremely embarrassed” after his tour manager decided to pull out of a show at the Swu Festival in Brazil over weather concerns on Nov 11.
The 61-year-old British rock legend has “made peace” with the organisers over the decision to pull the plug on the onstage amps after the equipment was lashed by rain. The former Genesis frontman put up a video message for his fans on his website to apologise for calling off the show. “We had a really difficult night,” Contactmusic quoted the singer as saying. “Rain had come down and all the equipment got wet... The tour manager was going crazy. “Everyone shortened their time, including us... We went onstage and switched the amps off and pulled them off. “I was extremely embarrassed about that. “It was very contentious at the time. We apologised to the fans,” he added. ANI
