Preity Zinta joins Twitter to get rid of fake account

Mumbai: The very pretty Preity Zinta has become the latest from Bollywood to join social networking site- Twitter. The actress reportedly created a profile on Twitter, as soon as she came across a fake account in her name. Although the real Preity has joined Twitter quite recently, the actress already had as many as 1,40,000 followers, all thanks to her fake online appearance. The actress, who was informed by a friend about her fake profile on Twitter, said, “The fake was using various quotes of mine from old interviews. Ask her or him to show the dimple then we shall see!” She now plans to get her account verified and put up a photograph. In her post on Twitter, Zinta wrote, “Just wanted to see for myself that someone was impersonating me! I felt that people were being cheated by a fake me.” As Preity joined the Twitter bandwagon, director Karan Johar gave her a thumping welcome, while actor Riteish Deshmukh has sent her a “real kiss”. Whoa!
