Amanda Seyfried happy with slow and steady career

Amanda Seyfried, who began her career as a child model, says she is extremely lucky that she has been able to develop slowly as an actress.

London: Amanda Seyfried, who began her career as a child model, says she is extremely lucky that she has been able to develop slowly as an actress.
"It`s been such a slow move for me. And I am really lucky because I got to experience each thing as it came, as opposed to being bombarded with all this attention. It has always been slow," she said. "People say, `Oh, breakout star overnight,` to these actors of my generation. It must be hard to get all that attention and know what is real at the end of the day. And luckily, a lot of them do and they`re real people... I can call them my peers and I am super proud," Seyfried added. The 27-year-old ‘Les Miserables’ star is grateful for her success and believes her best performance to date was alongside Lindsay Lohan in ‘Mean Girls’ in 2004, reported Contactmusic. "I have just worked a long time. I have got a lot of cool opportunities here and there and I have made some good choices with the help of my amazing team. I was with them since I was 16. It all feels right, it feels good. I still look back at `Mean Girls` as my best work," she said. PTI
