Asin on look out for meaty roles

Mumbai: Southern actress Asin, who has done commercial films in Bollywood like `Ghajini`, `London Dreams` and `Ready`, is actually looking out for a performance-oriented role in mainstream films.

"I have no such restrictions that I`m going to work in only mainstream commercial films but the ideal situation for me at this point would be to hopefully get a role in a commercial mainstream format, which has some scope for performance. And that`s very difficult to get," Asin told IANS. "Rather than concentrating only on niche cinema where you get better roles or concentrating only in commercial roles, where usually you don`t have much to do, the ideal would be to get a mix of both."
