Mumbai: The official trailer of ‘D-Day’ directed by Nikhil Advani and starring Rishi Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, Irrfan Khan, Huma Qureshi, Nasser and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles was launched by DAR motion Pictures on Thursday. The film co-produced by DAR Motion Pictures and Emmay Entertainment Private Limited will unfold the journeys of 4 unsung heroes from different walks of life with a common mission. The film will see Arjun Rampal paired opposite Shruti Haasan for the first time but it is Rishi Kapoor’s look that will leave you surprised. The thespian has been made to resemble underworld don Dawood Ibrahim! The trailer looks every bit intriguing. Each of the actors seems to have a very well defined role in the film and will certainly leave an impressionable footprint with distinction. Talking about the film, filmmaker Advani said, “My film is about the most wanted man in India. The story is about an operation that takes place in Karachi to bring this man back to Indian shores. The idea for this movie came from a conversation that I had with my driver while we were stuck in traffic. I was reading about Osama bin Laden being captured and told the news to my driver. He turned to me and said, `if they can do it why can`t we`. That got me thinking.” Music director trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy has composed songs for the film which is slated to release on July, 19.
