Gomez to launch first fragrance by next year

London: Actress Selena Gomez is all set to follow her boyfriend Justin Bieber by entering the fragrance market - she plans to launch her own perfume by next year.

Bieber recently released a scent for women called "Someday", which generated over $3 million in sales in just three weeks. Dailystar.co.uk reports that Gomez is teaming up with adventure-themed lifestyle brand Adrenalina to create her fragrance, which will hit shelves by next year. "I`ve been working on my fragrance for almost a year now. I`m excited, (because) it`s something I`m interested in... I`m already doing the whole process of smelling things and designing it and the campaign and everything, so it`ll be fun," said Gomez. Adrenalina boss Ilia Lekach said in a statement, "We are incredibly enthused to be working with Ms. Gomez and will reveal more details pertaining to the fragrance as we get closer to the launch date."
