New Delhi: During his four-day visit to India recently, Apple Inc CEO Tim Cook was seen all over the country – Mumbai to Hyderabad, Bangalore to Kanpur and New Delhi.

But it was for no simple reason that Tim Cook was in so many places in just a span of four days – inaugurating a facility centre in Hyderabad to dinner with Shah Rukh Khan in Mumbai, an IPL cricket match in Kanput to meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi.

With the US tech giant planning to open single-brand retail stores in India, having submitted a proposal for it, it was evident that Cook's visit to the country would touch areas.

Here are some of Apple CEO Tim Cook's plans for India that were evident during his recent visit.

Single-brand retail stores: The US tech giant has already forwarded a proposal to open single-brand retail stores in India and there is no denying that Tim Cook's meeting with PM Modi involved the topic. As per reports, he spoke of the possibilities of manufacturing and retailing in India.

Pre-owned iPhones: With the sales of iPhones failing in India especially due to high price, Cook plans to bring pre-owned iPhones into the country with new warranty. Of course, at cheaper prices.

Apple Pay: "We are planning to bring Apple Pay to India," Cook told NDTV. Apple Pay is a mobile payment and digital wallet service that lets users make payments through Apple devices.

Movies and Cricket: Cook experience Bollywood and cricket while in India – met film-maker Mukesh Bhatt, dined with Shah Rukh Khan and hosts of celebrities, and also watch a cricket match at Kanpur.

"He came to India with a very serious road map. Bollywood and cricket were surely on his mind for future business prospects," said film-maker Mukesh Bhatt, who was one of the people to interact with Cook when he was in Mumbai.

About cricket, Cook said, "It is incredible. I am already hooked on to it".
