New Delhi: The latest hearing at the Supreme Court for the never-ending tussle between the BCCI and SC-appointed Lodha panel saw the court slamming the cricketing body for its "defiant attitude."
In the latest developments, SC will pass an order today to make the cash-rich board "fall in line" to adopt Lodha Committee's directions and stop disbursing funds to state associations which are reluctant to reform.

During the hearing of the Justice RM Lodha Committee’s recommendation to remove the entire top brass of the cricketing board, Sibal told labeled BCCI chief Anurag Thakur as a cricketer.
Seeing the funny side of the comment, the Chief Justice of India(CJI) TS Thakur – heading the newly constituted bench comprising of Justice AM Khanwilkar and Justice DY Chandrachud – also took a dig at Sibal saying, “We are all cricketers here, Mr Sibal. I was captain of SC judges team against the Bar,” - reported The Hindu.
Absolutely nothing gets unnoticed by social media and the "Anurag Thakur Is A ‘Cricketer" comment couldn't keep Twitter quiet.
The Supreme Court will be giving its verdict today as BCCI refused to submit an undertaking to accept all directions of the Lodha committee. As per the reports, the highest court is “inclined” to sack the top brass of BCCI.
