Right then! 173 needed for Scotland to win. It will take some batting from Scotland to chase it out. Will they be able to do it? We will find out soon as the chase is about to start. 

Safyaan Sharif is up for a quick chat. He says that it was hot and humid out there. Adds that they are quite clear about how to go about in the Powerplay as a bowling unit. Tells that the pitch is a bit two-paced and they tried to vary their pace on this deck.

Scotland actually did well to start and end the innings on a high. While the iron was hot, they failed to take wickets in the middle phase and the opponents took every advantage of it. Brad Wheal did well to scalp two wickets in quick succession and cut out 10-20 runs more from the set batters. Only Mark Watt was economical of all the bowlers as he gave away just 13 runs and took a wicket in his 4-overs spell. New Zealand were off to a nervy start as wickets were falling at regular intervals while Guptill was watching it from the other end. Glenn Phillips then joined Guptill in the middle to control things. it looked like both were playing on a completely different pitch after the drinks break as everything was coming off the middle of the willow. Phillips was playing the second fiddle while Guptill was going all guns blazing. Once both fell, The Kiwis failed to take the advantage of the last few over

The veteran of New Zealand cricket, Martin Guptill showed his presence today as he kept his calm initially before taking the bowlers for cleaners. He was clearly losing his breath during the overs and then he decided to deal with boundaries. In the end, he was fully exhausted and missed out on a terrific hundred. For Scotland, they ended things well as they gave away just 22 runs in the last three overs.

Kyle Coetzer, the skipper of Scotland, says they will bowl first. Kane Williamson, the skipper of New Zealand, says that they would have bowled first as well as it looks like a good surface. Says that they are ready for the job. Informs that they are playing the same team. Adds that they have to maintain the standard same as they showed against India and would focus on their game. Tells that the players can play a variety of roles and that is why they are playing with the same team.

Hello and a very warm welcome to game number 32 of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup where New Zealand will go up against Scotland. The race for semi-final is getting intense and we are in for another exciting encounter from group 2 of this mega event.

New Zealand will be coming into this fixture high on confidence after having won their previous game against India and they are certainly looking favourites to grab the semi-final spot. The Kiwis have a world-class bowling attack and they proved their worth in their last game against India. Their top order has also spent some quality time in the middle and they have all to play for as the race for semi-final is well and truly on.

Scotland, on the other hand, are a good side but they haven't quite been able to bring their A game coming into the Super 12 stage. Their bowlers have done a decent job but it is their batters who need to step up if they are to stand a chance of winning against a strong New Zealand side. Right then, lots of match-ups to look forward to in this game and it promises to be an intriguing contest between Scotland's batters and New Zealand's bowlers. Right then! 173 needed for Scotland to win. It will take some batting from Scotland to chase it out. Will they be able to do it? We will find out soon as the chase is about to start. 

Safyaan Sharif is up for a quick chat. He says that it was hot and humid out there. Adds that they are quite clear about how to go about in the Powerplay as a bowling unit. Tells that the pitch is a bit two-paced and they tried to vary their pace on this deck.

Scotland actually did well to start and end the innings on a high. While the iron was hot, they failed to take wickets in the middle phase and the opponents took every advantage of it. Brad Wheal did well to scalp two wickets in quick succession and cut out 10-20 runs more from the set batters. Only Mark Watt was economical of all the bowlers as he gave away just 13 runs and took a wicket in his 4-overs spell. New Zealand were off to a nervy start as wickets were falling at regular intervals while Guptill was watching it from the other end. Glenn Phillips then joined Guptill in the middle to control things. it looked like both were playing on a completely different pitch after the drinks break as everything was coming off the middle of the willow. Phillips was playing the second fiddle while Guptill was going all guns blazing. Once both fell, The Kiwis failed to take the advantage of the last few over

The veteran of New Zealand cricket, Martin Guptill showed his presence today as he kept his calm initially before taking the bowlers for cleaners. He was clearly losing his breath during the overs and then he decided to deal with boundaries. In the end, he was fully exhausted and missed out on a terrific hundred. For Scotland, they ended things well as they gave away just 22 runs in the last three overs.

Kane Williamson, the skipper of New Zealand, says that they would have bowled first as well as it looks like a good surface. Says that they are ready for the job. Informs that they are playing the same team. Adds that they have to maintain the standard same as they showed against India and would focus on their game. Hello and a very warm welcome to game number 32 of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup where New Zealand will go up against Scotland. The race for semi-final is getting intense and we are in for another exciting encounter from group 2 of this mega event.

New Zealand will be coming into this fixture high on confidence after having won their previous game against India and they are certainly looking favourites to grab the semi-final spot. The Kiwis have a world-class bowling attack and they proved their worth in their last game against India. Their top order has also spent some quality time in the middle and they have all to play for as the race for semi-final is well and truly on.

Scotland, on the other hand, are a good side but they haven't quite been able to bring their A game coming into the Super 12 stage. Their bowlers have done a decent job but it is their batters who need to step up if they are to stand a chance of winning against a strong New Zealand side. Right then, lots of match-ups to look forward to in this game and it promises to be an intriguing contest between Scotland's batters and New Zealand's bowlers.
