They were superb in the slips and overall on the field as well. This should be an easy chase for New Zealand unless Sri Lanka come up with some magic. Stay tuned.
A sorry looking batting card for the Lankans. They were beaten by pace dearly. There was no significant contributions from anyone apart from Nissanka at the top. The other batters were victims to some class swing bowling. They were right under the pump as they lose three inside the 10 overs. Dasun Shanaka and Pathum Nissanka were trying to build a stand but a silly run out didn't help them. The skipper and Chamika Karunaratne made some handy contributions but we feel, this is way below-par.Â

New Zealand will be top of the moon right now. How good were they with the ball? The pacers ruled with some swing bowling display. Matt Henry and Henry Shipley started the proceedings and then Daryl Mitchell came in to get three wickets to his name while the other two mentioned too ended with three each. They were superb in the slips and overall on the field as well. This should be an easy chase for New Zealand unless Sri Lanka come up with some magic. Stay tuned.
A sorry looking batting card for the Lankans. They were beaten by pace dearly. There was no significant contributions from anyone apart from Nissanka at the top. The other batters were victims to some class swing bowling. They were right under the pump as they lose three inside the 10 overs. Dasun Shanaka and Pathum Nissanka were trying to build a stand but a silly run out didn't help them. The skipper and Chamika Karunaratne made some handy contributions but we feel, this is way below-par.Â

A sorry looking batting card for the Lankans. They were beaten by pace dearly. There was no significant contributions from anyone apart from Nissanka at the top. The other batters were victims to some class swing bowling. They were right under the pump as they lose three inside the 10 overs. Dasun Shanaka and Pathum Nissanka were trying to build a stand but a silly run out didn't help them. The skipper and Chamika Karunaratne made some handy contributions but we feel, this is way below-par.Â
