New Delhi: Kolkata Knight Riders skipper Gautam Gambhir has led his team off to a brilliant start to the Indian Premier League 2017 campaign, sitting at No. 2 spot behind leaders Mumbai Indians with a game in hand. Gamhir has rose as one of the most influential captians of this IPL season and in the latest episode of Knight Club, the stylish left-hander was asked to name his pick of the best captain he has played under.

The Delh-born batsman rose as one of the best players India have seen in the 21st century and was one of the captains' favourites no matter which player he played under. Having played under the leadership of the likes of Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid, Anil Kumble, MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli during his illustrious career, it would have been difficult for him to name the best of the lot.



Gambhir opted to pick MS Dhoni as the best captain he played under during in his illustrious career. He and fellow opener Virender Sehwag terrorised opponent bowlers with they fearless batting towards the end of 2000s and early 2010s, forming one of the most bankable opening paring Indian cricket has ever seen.
