New Delhi: Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif on Wednesday took to Twitter to hail Misbah-ul-Haq's 'selfless' service to Pakistan cricket.
Playing in his last series, the Pakistan captain, earned the dubious distinction of being the first batsman to score 99 on three occasions, two of which in two consecutive Tests.
On the third day of the second West Indies-Pakistan Test at Bridgetown, Misbah-ul-Haq got out caught at second slip by Sai Hope. Eyeing his 11th Test hundred, he got out on the score of 99.
In the first match at Kingston, Misbah-ul-Haq remained not out in the first innings of the match which, they won by seven wickets.
Kaif, 36, said that Misbah-ul-Haq's two 99's in hit last series is symbolic to the latter's selfless service to Pakistan's cricket.

Regarded as one of the modern greats, Misbah-ul-Haq has 5161 Test runs with 10 hundreds from 73 matches. He has another 5000+ runs in ODIs from 149 innings, which came without a single hundred — another record.
In T20Is, he has scored 788 runs in 34 innings.
