MS Dhoni Biopic: You should watch it, plenty of surprises in store - Sushant Singh Rajput tells S Sreesanth
Actor Sushant Singh Rajput has confirmed that there are plenty of surprises in store.
New Delhi: Former India cricketer S. Sreesanth is excited to watch India limited-overs captain M.S. Dhoni`s biopic "M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story".
"I am really excited to watch Dhoni`s biopic as he is a great captain. Certainly, there is a wonderful story to share. I would love to watch it," he said at the "Days of Tafree" premiere.
"I feel fortunate as I was a part of the 2007 World Cup as well as the 2011 World Cup team. I really want to see what is in the movie and how it has been shown," he added.
About the film`s lead actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Sreesanth said: "I did speak to Sushant during a couple of training sessions. He said `You should watch it. There are a lot of surprises`. In the 2013 IPL season, the Delhi police arrested Sreesanth and two of his Rajasthan Royals teammates, Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan from Mumbai, on charges of spot-fixing. Sreesanth too later confessed to spot-fixing and was later banned for life by BCCI.
Although it is yet to be seen whether the movie talks about this particular incident, Sushant has confirmed that there are plenty of surprises in store.
Directed by Neeraj Pandey, the film also features Disha Patani, Kiara Advani and Anupam Kher.
The film is set to hit the screens on September 30.
