New Delhi: Indian legend Sunil Gavaskar trolled Aussie all-rounder Glenn Maxwell in a sarcastic way while doing commentary on Day 4 of Ranchi Test.

With Australia needing every bowler in their ranks on a punishing day of Test cricket on Sunday, there arrived a moment when the commentators discussed the possibility Maxwell bowling few overs.


In the 172nd over, Aussie quick Josh Hazlewood looked tired and out of breath as India were still firm at 466 for six. It was his 39th over in the innings.


Then, Gavaskar reminded his fellow commentators that Maxwell's 'injury' which the all-rounder picked up yesterday while trying to stop a boundary.
