New Delhi: An incosolable Wahab Riaz broke down in front of camera after helping Peshawar Zalmi to the final of Pakistan Super League (PSL) on Friday.
The 31-year-old got emotional during the post-match talk, and dedicated the win to his late father. "It was my father's wish to see me play the final in Lahore. He could not get this gift [while he was alive] but I think he will be a very happy man," he said.
The fast bowler took three Karachi Kings wickets in the third qualifying final yesterday as Zalmi successfully defended 181 in Dubai.
"When I left the hotel, I spoke to my mother and sisters, and they told me that you have to do it for your dad," he added. The final will played under stringent security measures at the Gaddafi stadium in Lahore on Sunday.
