ISC results declared, dissatisfied students can appeal to schools

The ISC students who are not satisfied with their results can make a written complaint to their respective schools stating the objection in detail.

New Delhi: The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) announced the ICSE or class 10 as well as ISC or Class 12 results today at www.cisce.org. The council released results for over three lakh students at 3 PM today. The results were made available on the official website of CISCE- www.cisce.org.

The pass percentage for ICSE was 99.98 percent and ISC was 99.76 percent. Nearly 3 lakh students were eagerly waiting for the council’s announcement and got their results today. The ICSE 10th, ISC 12th results were available via SMS. 

“Given the exceptional circumstances under which the results have been prepared, this year too, the CISCE will not be publishing the merit lists for the ICSE & ISC Year 2021 examinations,” said Gerry Arathoon chief executive & secretary, CISCE.

This year, the ICSE and ISC exams were canceled by CISCE in view of the worsening COVID-19 situation, but the Council had come up with evaluation criteria to prepare Class 10, 12 results 2021. This was the first time that the CISCE declared the results without exams.

Check results on DigiLocker 

Step 1: Visit the official website of DigiLocker at digilocker.gov.in

Step 2: Click on the link ‘Register for DigiLocker’

Step 3: Enter mobile number and click on ‘Continue’

Step 4: An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number, verify your number via OTP

Step 5: Set your username and password to sign up. 

Step 6: Enter your 12 digit Aadhar number

Step 7: Choose any of the signup options

Step 8: Sign in using your registered user name and password to save your documents in DigiLocker

If students are dissatisfied with their results: 

In case a candidate has objection(s) in connection to the marks they have been awarded, they can make a written complaint to their respective schools stating the objection in detail. Schools will go through all the complaints in detail and forward only valid ones to the CISCE board. All these requests have to be sent to the board latest by August 1. 

It is to be noted, that the concern raising mechanism is only for the correction of calculation errors.

Southern region gets best pass percentage

The Southern region has the best pass percentage of 100.00 percent in CISCE ICSE 10th Result 2021. The second-best pass percentage has been recorded by the Western region at 99.99 percent.

CISCE Class 10, 12 syllabus update:

CISCE has reduced the syllabus of major subjects for ICSE and ISC exams 2022. In a statement released on their official website, the council said for the ICSE (class 10), the syllabus has been revised for history and civics, geography, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, economics, commercial studies, computer applications, economic applications, commercial applications, home science, physical education, yoga, and environmental applications.

Know what all to check in mark sheet?

The students need to cross-check a few things apart from their marks. The candidates should check their name, school name, registration number. In case of any discrepancy, report to the school authorities will take it to the Council.

CISCE Class 12 Result 2021: No merit list 

The council will not be releasing any merit list this year for both ICSE and ISC students as the results are being declared on the basis of special evaluation criteria. However, those who are unsatisfied with the marks can appear for a written exam to be held at a later date.

If a student has objection related to the marks awarded a written complaint can be made to their respective schools stating the issue in detail. The schools then need to look into the issue and only send valid complaints to the CISCE board. The mail can be sent at asicse@cisce.org for class 10 and asisc@cisce.org for class 12.

CISCE Class 12 Result 2021: Evaluation criteria 

ICSE and ISC Board exams were cancelled this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Subsequently, CISCE had released the assessment criteria which said that for ISC, the average marks scored by candidates in various exams in classes 11 and 12 will be taken into consideration, including the marks of project work and practical exam.
