Army jawan killed in firing from across the border
Jammu, Feb 13: An army jawan was killed and a BSF vehicle was damaged in shelling and firing from across the border in Rajouri district of Jammu, BSF sources said today.

Pakistani troops targeted Krishnaghati sector with mortar shells and small arms firing in the past 24 hours killing army jawan Tejinder Singh at Forward Defence location, they said, adding that a BSF vehicle was also damaged in firing from across the Line of Control in Rajouri. Indian and Pakistani troops exchanged mortar shells in Bhawani sector last night, sources said, and added that no loss was reported on the Indian side.
Intermittent small arms firing between the two sides along the international border has also been reported in Akhnoor, R S Pura and Samba sectors.
