Washington: Judd Apatow has recently said that he doubts Bill Cosby's innocence and ability to secure gigs.

The 'Bridesmaids' producer replied to a fan who tweeted that Cosby was innocence till proved, that comedian should have made public clarifications if he would have thought the allegation marked on him by women to be false, E! Online reported.

The 47-year-old producer added that it ought not to be a case of extortion when most of the accusers do not want anything, and he wondered that why some people try so hard to not believe women who have been assaulted.

The 77-year-old comedian had been alleged by dozens of women including Janice Dickinson and Beverly Johnson for performing inappropriate and illegal sexual acts on them.
