Los Angeles: Rapper Ludacris has won a custody battle against his ex-girlfriend Tamika Fuller of their 13-month-old daughter Cai. A judge granted the 37-year-old rapper and actor, whose real name is Chris Bridges, full custody of Cai, reported People magazine.

"After review of all the evidence, the testimony of the witnesses, the report of the guardian ad litem, and the claims made throughout this entire case, I am gratified that the judge found me to be the most fit and proper parent to have primary physical custody of our beautiful daughter," Ludacris said in a statement.

During the litigation, Tamika asked for an increase in Ludacris' child support payments and made allegations about the rapper initially being against the pregnancy.

The '2 Fast 2 Furious' actor fired back at Tamika, saying her claims were damaging his reputation and emphasising the reasons why he would provide a better environment for Cai.

The court's decision came one month after Ludacris tied the knot with his longtime love Eudoxie Mbouguiengue, allegedly on the same day he proposed.

Ludacris will reprise his role as Tej Parker in 'Furious 7'. Other original cast members like Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Michelle Rodriguez will also be back in their respective roles. Indian actor Ali Fazal also features in the film. The seventh installment of 'Fast and Furious' film series is set to hit Indian theatres on April 10.
