However, there is no confirmation on whether or not the actors will show up during the trial today. Before that, the chief metropolitan magistrate had framed charges against actor Salman Khan under Sections 51 of Wildlife Act, Section 27 of Arms Act and Section 148 of IPC, whereas others including Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre, Neelam, Dushyant Singh and Dinesh Gawre were framed under Sections 51 and 52 of Wildlife Act and Section 147 and 149 of IPC. All the accused then had filed a revision petition in the session’s court which set free Salman Khan under Sections 27 of Arms Act and 148 of IPC and the rest of the lot were set free under Sections 51 of Wildlife Act and Sections 147 & 149 of IPC. Then after, the state government filed a revision petition in the high court, which upheld the decision of the sessions court in Salman`s case while put back Section 149 of IPC against others, which the sessions court had dropped. The State government then approached the Supreme Court against the order of the high court, which too upheld the order of the high court discharging Salman under Section 148 of IPC on Thursday. It is now that the trial will recommence with revised charges and the accused have been ordered to be present in the court during the trial proceedings. All the named actors are accused of killing a blackbuck during the shooting of `Hum Saath Saath Hain` near Kankani village near Jodhpur in Rajasthan.
