Twitter abuzz with ‘1000 weeks of DDLJ’

Mumbai: Fans of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol are celebrating 1000 weeks of their favourite film ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’ today!

One of the iconic Indian films of all times, DDLJ made Shah Rukh Khan the ultimate romantic hero of Bollywood. Not just that, the Yash Raj Films’ production gave the silverscreen one of the super-hit jodi’s in the form of Shah Rukh and Kajol, whose onscreen chemistry is simply matchless.

Fans took to Twitter to trend 1000 years of DDLJ to celebrate the screening of the film at Mumbai’s Maratha Mandir.

It’s a known fact that SRK has an ocean of fan following! And the diehard fans couldn’t have expressed their love for their superstar in any better way than celebrate the unbeliebavle success of the film since its release on October 20, 1995.

Actors Anupam Kher, Mandira Bedi, Farida Jalal, Pooja Ruparel and the Late Amrish Puri played pivotal roles in the film.
