Jaipur, Aug 27: Rajasthan Brahmin Arakshan Manch today demanded that Brahmins be given 15 per cent reservation in the state by creating a special category of `economically backward classes' at par with other backward classes. Of the 72 lakh-strong Brahmin community in the state, about 64 lakh are living below poverty line and require social and economic protection, manch convenor and Congress MLA B L Sharma told reporters here.

He said that they will hold a rally here on September 7 to press their demand.
