Judicial remand for Pandya`s killers
Ahmedabad, May 02: A local court today remanded sharp shooter Asghar Ali and four others, arrested by CBI in connection with killing of former Gujarat home minister Haren Pandya, to judicial custody.
Ahmedabad, May 02: A local court today remanded sharp shooter Asghar Ali and four others, arrested by CBI in connection with killing of former Gujarat home minister Haren Pandya, to judicial custody.
Chief metropolitan magistrate N B Raneksha has posted the case for May 15. CBI officials had arrested Ali, Abdul Rauf, Abdul Bari Mohammed Shafi and Mohammed Iftekar from Hyderabad in connection with Pandya's murder on April 17 and 18. While Ali had allegedly pulled the trigger, the others were allegedly involved in the conspiracy. The five were earlier remanded to CBI custody for 12 days.
