London: Alec Baldwin is all set to pen a memoir 'Nevertheless', to be published in 2016.

The warts and all memoir will be an "unflinchingly" honest portrayal of his life and time, according Harper's publisher Jonathan Burnham, reported the Guardian.

Burnham said the book would be "funny, occasionally combative, often moving," and will deal with everything from Baldwin's childhood to his views on politics and media.

"He writes about his family, lovers, friends and enemies, confronts his former demons, relives the highs and lows of his career, and opens up in an unflinchingly honest way about his life and times."

Baldwin is known for his film roles in 'The Hunt for Red October', 'Glengarry Glen Ross' and 'The Cooler' besides his role as TV executive in Tina Fey's sitcom '30 Rock'.

The actor, however, hits headlines more for his personal life, including his frequent run-ins with media.

His tumults relationship with Kim Basinger, is already a part of memoir 'A Promise to Ourselves: A Journey Through Fatherhood and Divorce'.
